Ridgeline Roofing

What we do

Roofs, and the things around them that leak

Residential and light commercial across the metro. Starting prices are illustrative and assume an average pitch and an accessible property.

Roof replacement

From $9,800

Full tear off to the deck. Rotten sheathing replaced, ice and water shield in the valleys, new underlayment, flashing, ridge and ventilation. We do not overlay, and we will explain why if someone has quoted you for it.

  • Tear off and disposal included
  • Deck photographed once exposed
  • Manufacturer certified installation
  • Ten-year workmanship warranty

Storm and hail damage

Insurance, plus your deductible

Free inspection, a written report for your carrier, and the claim walked through with you. We meet your adjuster on the roof, which is where the scope is decided.

  • Emergency tarping seven days a week
  • Photographic damage report
  • We attend the adjuster visit
  • Supplements prepared with evidence

Roof repair

From $450

Missing shingles, failed pipe boots, valley leaks and flashing that was never right. Worth doing on a roof that has years left, and we will tell you when it is not.

  • Leak traced before anything is replaced
  • Matched to your existing shingle where possible
  • Two-year warranty on the repair

Gutters and downspouts

From $9 per foot

Seamless aluminium formed on site, sized to the roof area draining into it rather than to whatever was there before. Most undersized gutters are the reason a fascia rotted.

  • Sized by roof area and pitch
  • Hidden hangers, not spikes
  • Downspouts routed away from the foundation

Skylights and chimneys

Quoted on site

The two things that leak most often and get blamed on the roof least often. Usually the flashing, occasionally the unit itself.

  • Water tested to find the actual entry point
  • Counter-flashing cut into masonry, not caulked over
  • Replacement units fitted to current code

Attic ventilation

From $650

Under-ventilated attics cook shingles from underneath and void more manufacturer warranties than hail ever does. Cheap to fix during a replacement, expensive afterwards.

  • Intake and exhaust balanced, not just exhaust added
  • Bathroom fans vented outside, not into the attic
  • Insulation depth checked at the same time

Active leak or storm damage?

We tarp emergency leaks seven days a week.

Emergency tarping is billed separately from the repair and is almost always covered by the claim. We photograph the damage before we cover it, which is what the adjuster will want to see.
