What prompted the call?

No obligation. We never sell your details.

Storm damage

What actually happens after a hail storm

Thirteen of the roofing companies we looked at advertise storm work. Seven explain the claim. This is the whole sequence, including the parts where the answer can be no.

Stage one

Free inspection and report

We get on the roof, photograph every slope, and mark the hail bruising and wind damage against a diagram. You get the report by email the same day whether you file or not.

What you need to hand

  • Somewhere we can park a truck
  • Access to the attic if there is any staining

Worth knowing. If we do not think the damage will support a claim we will say so at this stage. Filing a claim that gets denied is not free to you, and it can affect your renewal.

Illustrative timeline for demonstration. Claim handling varies by carrier and policy. Replace with your own process before launch.

What we do

Roofs, and the things around them that leak

Residential and light commercial across the Oklahoma City metro. Prices are illustrative starting points, not quotes.

Roof replacement

Full tear off to the deck, rotten sheathing replaced, new underlayment, flashing and ridge. Not an overlay.

From $9,800

Storm and hail damage

Inspection, documentation and the claim walked through with you. Emergency tarping the same day if it is open.

Insurance, plus deductible

Roof repair

Missing shingles, failed flashing, pipe boots and valleys. The repairs that are worth doing on a roof with life left.

From $450

Gutters and downspouts

Seamless aluminium, sized to the roof area rather than to whatever was there before.

From $9 per foot

Skylights and chimneys

The two things that leak most often and are blamed on the roof least often.

Quoted on site

Attic ventilation

Under-ventilated attics cook shingles from underneath and void more manufacturer warranties than hail ever does.

From $650

Architectural asphalt, Class 4

Hail replacement, full tear off

Softball hail in May took out three slopes. Adjuster initially scoped two; we walked the north elevation with him and it went to a full replacement.

Wind damage, partial slope

Straight-line winds stripped the west slope. Repair rather than replacement, because the other three slopes were four years old.

Why homeowners pick us

We would rather lose the job than sell you a claim

This market has a storm-chasing problem. Here is how we are different, stated in ways you can check.

We will tell you not to file
If the damage will not support a claim we say so at the inspection. A denied claim costs you nothing to us and something real with your carrier.
We meet your adjuster on the roof
It is the one hour that decides the scope of your settlement. We are there for it, with our own measurements and photographs.
We are still here next spring
Local address, local phone, trucks with our own name on them. Storm-chasing outfits are gone by the time a workmanship problem shows up.
Your deductible is your deductible
Anyone offering to absorb it is committing fraud on your behalf and has priced it in somewhere. We will not do it and we will explain why.

How it goes

From the form to a finished roof

Three steps if you are paying directly, six if insurance is involved.

  1. 01

    Free inspection

We are on the roof within two working days. You get the photographs and the written report the same day, with no obligation.

    Within 2 working days

  2. 02

    A decision, then a plan

Either a claim, a direct quote or an honest recommendation to wait. If it is a claim we walk you through the whole sequence first.

    Same visit

  3. 03

    We build it

Most residential roofs are one to three days. We photograph the deck once it is exposed and we clean the yard with a magnet before we leave.

What people say afterwards

“They inspected, then told me my roof had five years left and I should not file. Three companies before them had told me it was totalled. Guess who I called when the hail finally got it.”

“Meeting the adjuster with them made a visible difference. The first scope covered two slopes. After the walk it covered the whole roof and the gutters.”

“Two days, start to finish, and you could not find a nail in the yard afterwards. The depreciation cheque arrived about three weeks later exactly like they said.”

Questions

Before you file

The questions we get asked standing in the driveway.

Yes, and the report is yours regardless. We do not charge for it and we do not make it conditional on hiring us. If you want a second opinion on somebody else's estimate we will give you that too.

A weather claim is generally treated differently from an at-fault claim, but carriers vary and repeated claims do get noticed. We will tell you honestly whether the damage justifies it. We are not the right people to advise you on your policy, and anyone who tells you it definitely will not affect anything is guessing.

You can request a re-inspection, and we will attend that too. Sometimes the answer stays no, in which case we will quote the repair directly and talk about financing.

No. It is insurance fraud in this state and we will not do it. If a contractor offers to, the cost is already buried in their price and you are the one signing the claim form.

Most residential tear-offs are one to three days depending on size and pitch. Metal takes longer. We do not start a roof we cannot dry in before the weather turns.
